AUREA continues to grow and has become a fixed event in the annual calendar. This year, we also saw that AUREA is becoming more and more international - never before have we had finalists from so many different countries! The quality has never been as high as this year, and we can be proud to say that technologies and solutions that will be commonplace in five years' time were first seen here at AUREA! 1. Motorica: Innovation MoGen, an Advanced Animation Revolution
Motorica takes home the Innovation Award with MoGen, a groundbreaking technology for advanced character animation. Using generative deep learning, MoGen empowers users to synthesize high-level controllable motion, offering an extensive library of over 150 styles. Motorica's MoGen is redefining the possibilities of character animation in XR.
2. Brainjo: Impact Harmonizing Mind and Body in Virtual Reality
In the Impact category, Brainjo shines with its innovative approach to brain training in virtual reality. Going beyond traditional methods, Brainjo incorporates movement, harmonizing body and mind. This unique blend opens new dimensions for cognitive enhancement, showcasing the potential of VR in holistic brain training.
3. Limitless Flight: Interaction Soar into the Future with Hyperreal Wingsuit Experiences
Limitless Flight secured the Interaction Award with its cutting-edge wingsuit experience. By combining a real wingsuit with a custom VR helmet, Limitless Flight creates a hyperreal and multi-sensory stimulation, offering users the exhilarating sensation of flight. 4. PatchXR: Creative PatchWorld – A Musical Metaverse
PatchXR takes home the Creative Award with PatchWorld, a metaverse where sound and vision intertwine with the emotional power of music. Co-founder Mélodie Mousset's award-winning VR artwork, HanaHana, laid the foundation for PatchXR's bespoke VR sound engine, Patch. 5. Holoplot: Experience / Immersion - Revolutionizing Audio in XR
Holoplot clinches the Experience/Immersion Award with HoloplotSphere - Las Vegas. Holoplot reimagines audio technology, transforming sound reproduction by introducing precise control comparable to manipulating light. This project promises an immersive audio experience, where every seat becomes the best seat in the house, setting a new standard for XR immersion.
